Food packaging and labelling performs a significant role in food industry. It is the final unit operation in production of a particular food product, and it eventually determines the shelf life of the product. The current course is mainly designed to educate the students about the functions of packaging, different packaging materials that can be used for different food products, basic principles of food labelling and etc.
